Day 8

Packing it up early was very useful and was able to get ready soon. There was also slight dribble in Neyveli township and there was no sign of rain when I was out of the township. The first stop was to Gangaikonda Cholapuram. This place always amazes me and was planning to visit another temple in Kumbakonam but was time didn't permit as it closes by 12 PM. After that rode to Tanjore medical college to meet my school friend R.Naveen who is a doctor. Meeting him after 10 years too. After meeting him went to Kallakudi to Sarath house (College Mate). Rain picked up while coming to Kallakudi and was able to test the jacket and pant a little bit. Need to safeguard my dress bag as it was open tied to the bike.
Day 9

Had some good rest and woke up a little bit late. Went to Sarath's sister house to finish up the All India Ride website work. All the Week 1 updates were done today. As I am travelling I am not able to update it regularly but I want to make sure to document all the things happening. After that we went for a small night ride for some tea. Also there was a cute little naughty friend new kitten. It was a relaxing day and setup most of the website work. Also ordered some items in amazon for the travel to Tuticorin to raja's home which I can pickup once I am there probably at the end of the month. Planned to got Karaikudi to celebrate Diwali there! :)
Day 10

Today was a lazy day! Perhaps the lazy day actually lead to many short detour! No images today as I literally didn't do anything except take some rest. Henry came today, we had tea and some Chilli cBonda. Should have take pictures. This reminded me that I should start taking pictures of all the little things happening around me during this travel which actually makes it more memorable. So I decided to go home as a detour as tomorrow is my parents wedding anniversary and an another day to spend Diwali in my home. So will be moving out early from here to reach Salem.
Day 11

So decided to travel to my home to give my mum a surprise visit. Got up early and prepared for the trip. I was able to find fellow like minded people like Vishwanath in Tirupur, so seeing if I will be going to Tirupur on 25th. So had a good ride from Kalakudi to Salem. Roads were smooth. Reached my home in the afternoon and my mum was surprised. Need to some coding for my other website and my dual monitor desktop will sure come in handy.
Day 12

Took a full day rest and rearranged a few things. Tried cooking popcorn in the decathlon trekking vessel I bought. Also took popcorn seasoning which I wanted to buy in Chennai but forgot about it. I had already had it home, so taking that. Left few clothes, didn't want to carry too many clothes. Finished a few works. As tomorrow I will be continuing my All India ride.
Day 13

Started my trip today to Karaikudi to Rahul's(Setu) house. Today was lunar eclipse and new moon day which in our home we do a little pooja for our Passed away relatives, Usually my grand parents. (To be honest I really like this, we do this one day every month). Had some payasam made by mum and resumed my trip. Ride to Karaikudi was good., Did take a different route. Before going Karaikudi went to Mahiballanpatti to see the memorial pillar of Kanniyan Pungundranar. Then reached Karaikudi met rahul and sandeep. (School Friends)
Day 14
26.10.2022 ( Wednesday )
Had a good time sleep and it was the rest time. Woke up late and had breakfast. Went to Rahul's shop and finished some work. Actually was sending out Couchsurfing requests for my Kerala Trip. Also forgot to tell Sudha (My Collegemate}texted in the middle of the night. So saw her in the evening and went to her home for dinner. Saw here Mum, Dad and sister. After that we out to have some Badam milk and then slept for tomorrow's Dahnushkodi trip.
